CALVARY WHERE LIVES ARE CHANGED

Covid-19 Church News Letter

“When I . . . send a plague . . . if My people who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” (II Chronicles 7:13, 14)

Dear Calvary Community members:

Believing that God will be faithful to His word we ask you to join with us in expecting a revival in response to our humility before and patience in waiting on Him. Let’s use this time to seek God’s face in preparation for a movement of the Holy Spirit that will see God’s glory revealed as we have not before witnessed.
We anticipate that, under his plan for reopening Illinois, our governor will announce this Friday that we will move into stage four in July. This will allow us to resume worship gatherings, as well as many other related activities, on July 5. As we mentioned before, guidelines for such meetings will likely cause us to have to meet in smaller groups.
If this is so, we will offer three one hour services at 8:00 AM, 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM. Children’s ministry and limited van transportation will be provided at the 9:30 service only. Social distancing and mask wearing will be required. On June 21 and  28 we will continue to offer livestream worship at
www.calvarymemorialchurch.com)
As we eagerly await the opportunity to again gather for worship, we ask you to join us in humbly waiting on God for His will to be done. Thank you for your faithfulness and cooperation.

Sincerely yours,
Pastor David Petty (815-985-9728)
Pastor Ed Tinsley (815-540-4824)
Pastor Dave Symonds (815-668-3815)
